 Singapore, 8 June 2006 – Jetstar airways came in first in the Skytrax Airline of the Year survey, as the Best Low-cost Airline 2006 for both the asia and Southeast asia categories.

 The Airline of the Year survey is a worldwide independent passenger study conducted at airports by Skytrax. This Skytrax worldwide survey interviews totaled over 13 million, with more than 93 different nationalities. No sponsorship or external influence is applied, making the result survey a highly respected passenger survey of its type in the world.
